- Vineyard:
Situated 10 km from the sea, the climate is mild. While the mistral coming from the mountains dries the vines, the Marin brings a breeze of humidity. The soil is made of gravels which offers the best conditions for the growth of the vines. Small gravels on the plots for the white and rosé varietals and larger gravels for the reds. The gravels absorb the heat during the day and restitute it at night.
- Vinification:
Traditional, Pump Over. Fermentation temperature 84ºF. 18 days of Fermenting. 12 months in oak barrels of 450 liters for 50% of the volume. 3 months in tank before the bottling.
- Terroir:
Villafranchiens gravels. Gress on South Costières de Nimes.
- Training system:
Cordon de Royat
- Tasting Notes:
-
Deep red, purplish robe. Aromas of spices, black and red fruits. Fruity, with notes of spices and liquorice in the mouth. Complex and intense wine, with soft, but present tannins. Elegant and well-structured, ending with Cinsault freshness.
Château BeauboisIt looks pretty, youthful-dark garnet. Rich, well-integrated nose with Syrah ascendant...
