Origin: Gualtallary, Valle de Uco, Mendoza.
Altitude: 1400 m.
Climate: Cool average temperatures and nights with wide thermal amplitude, relatively more humid than other areas of Mendoza.
Vinification process is very respectful to the grapes. Traditional maceration. Cold soaking is performed until the natural fermentation starts. Excraction process is very careful and lasts for about 12 days. Temperatures are controlled between 75 - 82 ºF.
Sandy loam over calcium carbonate coated with small gravel. 30 to 50 cm deep.

Vines trained in VSP. Cordon is used as pruning technique.
